A message from Deb Rohrer
Dear Leadership Lancaster Alumni and Friends,
Ten years ago, the Leadership Lancaster Board of Directors gave me an opportunity of a lifetime: to lead an organization that has a rich history of developing leaders who impact and inspire our community every day. The experience has truly been an honor and a privilege. I have always said I have the best job in Lancaster County. Every day I get to help people who just want to do good.
It has been so rewarding to introduce people to our very special community, and to be a catalyst to their engagement and leadership development. And, it has been a ton of fun along the way!
Today, I write to let you know that I will be retiring from Leadership Lancaster at the end of June 2017. The decision is bittersweet, of course.
I will miss the excitement, successes, and even the challenges. I will miss each and every one of you. You have given me so much support over the years. I cannot thank you enough.
Over the course of the next year, I will be engaged in the process of obtaining my professional coaching certification. I look forward to the possibilities that present as a way to continue my love of helping great people become even better. I hope you share my excitement.
Together, we have lots to accomplish over the next 6 months. I am confident that we will continue to do great things for LL and our community. I know you share that commitment.
So, June will be an ending and a beginning for me and for this organization I love so much. Until then, we will continue to do the great work that Leadership Lancaster has always done.
I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for your confidence in me, your support and your friendships, and above all your love of Leadership Lancaster and our wonderful community.
